Jardin William, a bilingual urban oasis for toddlers, opening in Griffintown next January 2019. This fulfilling screen-free environment was designed to stimulate children intellectually, creatively and emotionally. Jardin William, endorsed by the Ministère de la Famille, puts forward values promoting autonomy, self-expression, communications, in a safe and whimsical setting.
At Jardin William, we consider that learning through play is at the root of toddlers' pedagogy. For this reason, here are the values to which the daycare adheres:
Encouraging the development of a sense of responsibility and initiative.
Curiosity: the search for stimulating experience.
Warm atmosphere in which cooperation, sharing and trust prevail.
Cherish our differences and improuve our self: a basic value of the daycare.
“The child as the master of his learning.”
Emilio Reggia Pedagogic Approach
The daycare puts forth the values supporting the acquisition of autonomy, cooperation and a healthy self-esteem. Inspired by the Italian pedagogical approach of Reggio Emilia, children are inclined to explore their world and to learn according to their interests at their own pace. Our mission is to ensure the growth of every child on an emotional, motor and intellectual basis through art and science.
